Before and after gallery
Real results from jobs around Sydney. Every surface is cleaned with the pressure and solution that suits the material, and organic growth is treated at the source so the result lasts.
Before
AfterSandstone entry path
Heavy lichen and moss right through the joints. Sandstone is soft, so it is treated first and washed at low pressure. Nothing gets etched and the natural gold and grey tones come back on their own.
Before
AfterBrick paver driveway
A shaded driveway under thick canopy, which is the worst case for moss and algae. Treated and washed so the original red brick came back through, with the joints cleaned out and blown off at the end.
Before
AfterStepping stone path and pavers
Individual steppers and pavers set into lawn. Each one is done by hand around the grass so the finish is even and the turf is left alone.
Before
AfterExposed aggregate steps
Steps go black first because they hold moisture and rarely see full sun. Cleaned back to the original aggregate, which also makes them a lot less slippery underfoot.
Before
AfterUpstairs balcony
The first photo shows the line between cleaned and untouched concrete part way through. Balcony work includes the balustrade and edges, with water managed so nothing runs into the rooms below.
Before
AfterSandstone patio and paving
Years of grey film and growth across the sandstone. Treated first so the growth died at the root, then washed at low pressure with a solution matched to the stone. The natural warm colour underneath does the rest.
Before
AfterFront path and entry
Tannin staining under the trees and a dark build up down the shaded side. Cleaned from the street through to the garage in even passes so there are no stripes or missed edges.
Before
AfterShared townhouse driveway
Large shared concrete that had gone dark and blotchy. Done in one visit with the whole slab brought back to an even tone, including the gutter line and drainage grates.

Driveway before and after
One pass with a surface cleaner after the growth was treated at the root, so the finish is even across the slab rather than striped.

Treatment going on first
The cleaning solution does the work on organic growth before any pressure is applied. Blasting first is what strips the top of the concrete.

Pool surround and paving
Surrounds are cleaned at low pressure with a solution matched to the surface so the stone and grout are left intact.
