Roof cleaning in Sydney
Roofs are treated, not blasted. High pressure on roof tiles strips the surface coating and drives water under the laps, so we use a soft wash treatment that kills moss, lichen and black growth and lets weather carry it away.
How the treatment works
The roof is inspected for broken tiles, failed pointing and blocked valleys before anything is applied, and anything we find is reported to you.
A biological treatment is applied across the surface to kill lichen and moss at the root. Results continue to improve over the following weeks as the dead growth breaks down and washes off in rain.
Gutters and downpipes are checked so debris from the roof does not create a blockage afterwards.
Safety and access
Roof work is carried out with appropriate access equipment and full public liability cover. Certificates of currency are available for strata and commercial clients on request.

Will pressure washing ruin my roof tiles?
High pressure can, which is why we soft wash. Concrete tiles in particular lose their surface coating under a pressure wand.

Do you clean the gutters too?
Gutters and downpipes are checked and can be cleared as part of the job. Mention it when you enquire so it is included in the quote.
