Pressure washing on the Upper North Shore

Sandstone steps, paths and retaining walls are soft and porous, so they are cleaned at low pressure with a solution suited to the stone rather than a wand.

Older brick and lime mortar joints are treated the same way, because high pressure opens the joints and creates a bigger problem than the mould did.

Established gardens are wet down before and rinsed after, and run off is directed away from beds so nothing is burnt off along the edge of a driveway.
