How much does pressure washing cost in Sydney

Area is the starting point but it is rarely the deciding factor. A large driveway in good condition can take less time than a small one that has been left under trees for five years.

Condition matters more than size. Deep moss, lichen, tannin staining and oil all need pre treatment and dwell time before anything is washed, and that time is what you are paying for.

Surface type changes the method. Sandstone, pavers, render, painted weatherboard, timber and roof tiles all need low pressure and specific chemistry, which is slower than running a machine across plain concrete.

Access affects the job. Steep or long driveways, upper level walls, tank water, septic systems and gardens that need protecting all add time and planning.

A fixed price per square metre either overcharges the easy jobs or leaves the hard ones half done. Quotes that arrive before anyone has seen the surface usually get revised on the day, and that is the complaint people have with this industry.
